How long it takes

Ljubljana to Munich Airport is about 430 km and the drive usually takes around 4 h 45 min. The exact time depends on the hour and on the border if the route crosses one: we leave with a margin and work to your schedule rather than a timetable.

How the pickup works

I come to the address you give, early enough to have you at the terminal in good time: usually two hours before a European flight and three before a long-haul one. Give me the flight number and I work out the departure time myself and remind you the day before.

Luggage

The C-Class takes 2 large + 2 cabin bags, the V-Class 5 large suitcases. If there is more than that, or it is awkward – skis, a pushchair, bicycles – say so in advance and we will bring the right car. There is a rack for three bicycles.

Why not the bus

A bus or a shuttle costs less, but it runs to a timetable, picks up other passengers and puts you down at a stop rather than at the door. With suitcases, with children or after a night flight, the difference is paid back by the first hour you did not spend waiting.

Common questions

What time do we need to leave for the airport?+
I work it out from the flight number: two hours at the terminal before a European departure, three before a long-haul one. I confirm the time the day before and remind you in the morning.
What if my flight is delayed?+
I track the flight and come for the time you actually land – you do not need to write. The first two hours of waiting at the airport are free.
How do I pay?+
Cash, card on the spot or bank transfer, whichever suits. No deposit is taken and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the trip.
